1. Open your matter
In the Matter list on the left, click the matter you're working on. You can pick which matter from the matter list navigation on the left side, the matter you're in shows at the top right.
2. Click Prompts
In the top navigation, click Prompts. LawY shows the templates most relevant to your matter, grouped by area of law. To jump straight to one, type in the Search prompts box.
3. Choose your Prompt
Find the Prompt for the document you need for example, Letter reviewing a contract for sale. Want to check what it covers first? Click it to preview, or use the ⋮ menu to Open or Download it.
If you opened the prompt you can click “Configure run” and choose which part of the prompt you want to filter. (Auto, entire matter, folders, documents) then click run prompt.
If you are still in the prompt window, press “run prompt”.
4. Click Run prompt
Your draft will appear under the “all” tab, filled in with your matter's details.
5. Review, refine and use it
Read the draft and make it yours. Edit it directly, or simply tell LawY what to change for example, "Change the settlement date to 60 days after the contract date."
