User Roles in CORTO Account Admin Settings

In CORTO, user roles are designed to control access to features and data, ensuring that each user has the appropriate level of permission based on their responsibilities. Below is a breakdown of the three main roles in the CORTO account admin settings:

Admin

The Admin role has full access to all settings and features in the CORTO account.

Users assigned to this role can:

  • Access the Admin page.

  • Edit and update firm details.

  • Manage and modify Cloud storage (OneDrive, Dropbox) connections.

  • Manage Cloud storage (OneDrive, Dropbox) folder selections.

  • Access the billing page.

  • Modify and manage current subscriptions.

  • Update payment methods.

  • View and download invoices.

  • Manage permissions and access levels.

  • Manage user accounts, including adding, removing, and assigning roles to other users.

Admins are responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the CORTO account.

Staff

The Staff role has more restricted access compared to Admins but still plays a critical role in day-to-day operations. The Staff role allows users to view data relevant to their assigned tasks.

Users with the Staff role can:

  • Access the My Account page.

  • Edit and update account details.

  • Reset passwords.

  • Link their Outlook account.

  • Work within the CORTO home page, access all CORTO features, and perform tasks as required.
Note: They cannot view or access the Admin page and cannot make any changes to admin settings, user roles, or system configurations.

Staff members are responsible for executing tasks within their scope but do not have the ability to manage settings or configurations.

User (No Role Assigned)

Users without any assigned role will not have access to the CORTO. They are excluded from using CORTO until they are granted the appropriate user role.
