LawY’s Research feature helps you get fast, reliable answers to your legal questions. Here’s how to use it. This article will cover LawY Research, Deep Research and Human Verification.
Select the matter you wish to complete research for.
Click on the “Research tab”.
Type your question into the question box and click “Ask”.
LawY’s AI model will serve you an instant AI-answer with citations specific to your jurisdiction and area of law.
If you need a more comprehensive answer, click on the “Deep Research + Human Verification” button that is in the top right location.
You will be served a list of substantive legal questions that are extracted from your conversation. Select which questions you want to research and click “Next”.
You will have the option to select the facts from your conversation relevant to your questions. Select the facts and click “next”.
Select which research options you want to use and click “Submit”.
Deep Research: Our AI goes deeper into the legal principles and explores complex questions, offering a comprehensive legal analysis. Typically Deep Research AI-answers will generate in 15-30 minutes.
Deep Research with Human Verification: Get your Deep Research answer verified by a real human lawyer who is an expert in the specific area of law and jurisdiction relevant to your query.
9. Once your Deep Research query has been submitted, you can view the results in the corresponding option in the left-hand navigation bar. Deep Research lists all answers provided, whereas Verifications only displays the Deep Research answers which you have submitted to a lawyer for review.
10. You can check on your Deep Research status by checking under the “Research Status” tab. Once your output is ready your research status will update to “Research complete”.
11. Once your research question is complete you can click into it to review the details. If you did not submit for verification already, you can do so by clicking “Submit for verification”.
