1. Open a proposed redline
After running a contract review, open a risk in the LawY Contracts panel. You’ll see a suggested comment underneath each proposed redline.
2. Check the suggested comment
Hover over the comment to highlight the wording it explains in yellow. The comment box is also outlined in yellow, showing you exactly which words the comment will be attached to when you apply the redline.
3. Edit the comment
Click into the comment box to make any changes, or leave the suggested wording as it is. The text in the box when you apply the redline is what will appear in your document.
4. Leave the comment out (optional)
If a redline doesn’t need a comment, click the X in the top-right corner of the comment box. You can still apply the redline without it.
5. Applying the redline with comment
Click the tick at the top of the redline section. The change goes into your document as a tracked change, and the comment goes in alongside it.
